Is my donation tax-deductible?
All donations are tax-deductible in the U.S.A. The UPAVIM Community Development Foundation (UCDF) is a 501C3 organization based in the United States and donations.
Can I earmark my donation for a certain area/project?
Yes! On our donations page, check the box marked “I would like to designate this donation to a specific fund” and you will have the option to select where you would like your funds to be directed. Donations not earmarked for a specific fund will be used wherever they are most needed.
Can I hold a fundraiser for UPAVIM?
Yes! We are happy to help you plan your fundraiser. Fundraising is a great way to create a larger impact with your donation. Host a sale at your home, church or office with UPAVIM Crafts, or contact us to learn about other ways you can raise money for UPAVIM.
Can I make a recurring donation?
Yes! We gratefully accept recurring donations. Please see the payment options below to learn more about how we process your recurring donation.
What are my payment options?
We try to make donating as easy as possible. Donations can be made in many forms, including all major credit cards, paypal, cash and check. Credit Cards are processed through PayPal.
How do I cancel my recurring online donation?
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click Profile near the top of the page.
- Click My money.
- Click Update in the My preapproved payments section.
- Click Cancel, Cancel automatic billing, or Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.
- If you do not know your paypal account login or cannot access your paypal account, please contact us for assistance.
Do I have to use PayPal?
Paypal securely processes credit card donations for UPAVIM Community Development Foundation. With our registered non-profit account, paypal takes a much smaller percentage of each payment in fees compared to other commercial vendors. This means more of your donation goes directly to where it’s needed most, and less to the credit card processing companies.
What if I don’t have a paypal account?
That’s okay! You can use your credit card or bank account to pay through paypal and Paypal basically acts as a middleman. You are not required to create an account for one-time donations. On the donation page, look for the continue link, next to “Use your credit card or bank account (where available.) See screenshot below for help finding the link.
What about recurring donations?
Recurring donations are processed through paypal. A paypal account is required in order to give us permission to bill you each month. With our registered non-profit account, paypal takes a much smaller percentage of each payment in fees compared to other commercial vendors. This means more of your donation goes directly to where it’s needed most, and less to the credit card processing companies.
Depending on your payment method, your credit card or bank statement will show either “PayPal *UPAVIM CDF ” or “PAYPALINST XFER.” each month.
