UPAVIM's Local Bakery
The bakery began in 2001 when Phase 1 of the Annex was completed. The two women employed at the bakery make fresh bread twice daily and other baked goods which are sold locally in a small store. The bakery and store have been so successful they are now self-sustainable! As the bakery and store grow, UPAVIM hopes to use the profits to help the local school.
Special Thanks: The equipment, which includes large mixers, two ovens, a dough mixer, and a baking table, was paid for by Rotary Clubs from Paso Robles and Paso Robles-Sunrise, California with additional funds from Rotary International.
